    [LG TV Noise] I am experiencing a piercing noise.

    Troubleshooting

    Is the noise too loud to watch TV?

    Anomalies with broadcasting signals or the TV may lead to noise.
    You can check if there is a problem with the product using the sound test.

    Try this

    Is the noise coming from the channel you are watching?

    ? Go to [Settings] and start [Sound Test] to check if the sound works normally.

    Conducting [Sound Test] in Settings

    [2020] WebOS 5.0

    Press the Settings Button button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Support] → [Additional Settings] → [Sound Test].
    Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.
    Select [All Settings] in the [Settings] menu.

    1. Select [Support] and then 2. [Additional Settings].

    Press the Settings Button button on the TV remote and select [All Settings] → [Sound] → [Sound Test].
    Turn on the TV and press the [Settings] button on your TV remote.

    Select [Smart] or [Settings Menu] → [Settings] → [Customer Support] → [Sound Test].

    General TV

    Select [Settings Menu] → [Customer Support] (press the red button at the bottom of the TV remote) → [Sound Test].
    When the test voice is heard normally, it is likely that the broadcasting signal has a problem.
    Please contact the set-top service provider. (e.g., cable TV, Skylife, IPTV)
    If the test sound has the same problem, please contact LG Electronics service technician for further troubleshooting support.
