Causes and Symptoms

If other CDs have no problem with it, then it might be that your CD has defects due to scratches and so on.
If other CDs also have the same problem, then use a CD cleaner to remove alien substances and if the problem persists, then have inspection by a technician.

Mounting type

Mounting type means that a CD is inserted after opening the top cover. If you open the CD door, you will see a small lens, clean this area off thoroughly with a Q-tip soaked in alcohol.

Drawer type

In case of a drawer type, purchase a cleaner CD and wash off the lens with it.
(Cleaner CD is available for purchase at music shop, CD shop or record shop.)
