Try this.
Check if the sensor is being obstructed.
? Obstructions between the appliance and the remote control may block the
sensor and prevent the remote control from working properly.
Remove any obstructions and then try using the remote control again.
Use the remote control within the recommended range (0.5m to 1.0m).
? The remote control may not work properly if used from too far away.
Check the batteries in the remote control.
? Replace the batteries. Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly, with the positive (+) and negative (-) ends aligned.
Make sure other infrared-emitting devices are not nearby or turn them off.
? Nearby devices such as compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), neon signs, or other infrared-emitting devices can cause interference.
Turn off these devices and test the remote.
