LG AC is good, But not Abans Sri Lanka
Abans Sri Lanka's service is the worst. Please see their Google reviews and understand the reality. They do not provide services on time. After the purchase, it took 10 days for them to come and fix the AC unit. No one will be responsible for the calls. I have decided to quit the service agreement after free services.

I recently bought an LG 12000 BTU Antivirus & WiFi Inverter from Wattala Abans for 290,000 LKR, and I’m really pleased with its performance! Some standout features include:
- HD filter with Antivirus protection
- Super convertible 5-in-1 cooling with capacities ranging from 40% to 110%
- ThinQ app support (WiFi)
- R32 gas and dual inverter compressor
- 70% energy saving and 40% faster cooling
Here are a few energy-saving tips I've found effective:
- Set the AC to 40% capacity mode and maintain a temperature of 26°C.
- Since it’s an inverter model, run it for long hours daily (8-12 hours). I use it 8 hours at night and 3 to 4 hours during the day. At night, it consumes less energy.
- When turning on the AC, run the fan at maximum speed. Once the desired temperature is reached, switch it to Auto mode.
- Place the outdoor unit in a shaded area, away from direct sunlight and rain.
Lastly, regardless of the AC model, proper installation is key. Make sure to have an expert handle the installation to avoid future repair costs and issues.
