[LG Air Conditioner Power] Power not turned on

Causes and Symptoms

• The power cord is loosely plugged in.
• A power strip is being used.
• It is necessary to check the remote control of the air conditioner.

Air conditioners are electrical appliances that consume a lot of power.
Use an exclusive circuit breaker for the air conditioner and connect the product to a dedicated wall outlet.
If a power strip must be used due to the installation environment, use a 16 or higher amps power strip with a cable thickness between 2~2.5mm. (0.07~0.1 in) The air conditioner must be used alone.

If the power cord is loosely plugged in, the power cord may overheat or the power may be turned off.

? Unplug the power cord, and cool heat for approximately 30 minutes. Then, correctly plug the code in to start the product again.

If your product is a model with the hidden power cord, check the dedicated circuit breaker for the air conditioner.

The dedicated circuit breaker for an air conditioner is adjacent to the shoe chest on the front door of your house, and the circuit breaker is marked with Air Conditioner, or A/C.
Trip the circuit breaker, and then reset it.

It is preferable that a power strip is not used and that the air conditioner is connected to an exclusive power outlet on the wall.

Note

Separating and storing batteries separately when you do not use the remote control for a long period of time can prevent the batteries from discharging and causing a remote control failure.
* If the remote control is not used for a long period of time with the batteries inserted, battery fluid may leak and cause a remote control failure.
