Terms and Conditions for LG Trade-In program

LG Trade-In is a service provided by LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc (“LG”). The Trade-In program is only open to U.S. consumers who (i) currently own a qualifying LG dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, or other approved LG product (“Qualifying Device); and (ii) purchase a new LG home appliance from LG.com (“New Device”). The Trade-In program allows you to transfer ownership to LG of the Qualifying Device in exchange for a discount on the purchase price of the New Device equal to the trade-in value (as determined by LG in its sole discretion) of the Qualifying Device (“Discount”). By accepting these Trade-In Terms and Conditions, you understand and agree that: 

• You are at least 18 years old (19 in AL and NE; 21 in MS).
• You are not a reseller and you either own the Qualifying Device or have been authorized by such owner to trade in the Qualifying Device.
• LG may refuse, cancel, modify, or limit the quantity of any trade-in transaction for any reason.
• You must uninstall, empty and unplug the Qualifying Device prior to the arrival of the delivery and removal team and you are solely responsible for creating a safe path to the Qualifying Device, free of pets, safety hazards, and personal property that could be damaged upon removal of the Qualifying Device.
• There are no leases, contractual commitments, or other third-party interests attached to your Qualifying Device.
• At completion of this transaction, all right, title, interest, and ownership of your Qualifying Device transfers to LG as-is.
• You are responsible for backing up and/or deleting data on your Qualifying Device. LG is not be liable for your data.
• The Discount is provided at time of purchase of the New Device and cannot be used toward a future purchase.
• You acknowledge that trade-in eligibility, trade-in values, and the Discount are subject to LG’s inspection. The Discount amount is not final until LG has inspected the Qualifying Device and confirmed the trade-in value. There may be instances when LG will revise the estimated trade-in value of the Qualifying Device if inspection results differ from what was described. If the estimated trade-in value changes, you will be contacted to accept or decline the revised price of the New Device.
• The trade-in transaction is final and cannot be cancelled by you unless the estimated trade-in value has been revised and declined by you.
• The Discount provided in exchange for the Qualifying Device may be used solely in connection with your purchase of the New Device identified during the original trade-in transaction. The Discount will not be applied to any purchase of any other good or service, including exchanges or replacements, is non-transferrable, may not be sold or assigned, may not be redeemed for cash, and may not be combined with any other offer.
• Your right to return the New Device is subject to the Terms of Purchase, but any such return will not result in a return of the Qualifying Device or the Discount being applied to another purchase.
• Laws may require that any personal information you provide as part of this trade-in be provided to law enforcement by LG.
